General Advice: bookholidayrentals.com recommends you ensure you have a contact telephone number of someone local during your stay. Should something go wrong, or you are not happy with some aspect of the property on arrival or subsequently, a call to your contact to give them the opportunity to put things right would be prudent. Just like at home, machines can break down, cleaning ladies can get sick and not turn up. If you do not let someone responsible know, they cannot put things right. If you do not give the owner or agent the opportunity to correct the situation, any subsequent claim may be met with less sympathy.

French Law requires that any outdoor sunken swimming pool must have approved safety alarms or barriers. This was applied in January 2004. We advise that you confirm with the property owner with a sunken pool they have the required safety feature in place and that it conforms to the appropriate norm.
