Recently refurbished and furnished to high standards and with great sea views, the villa is perfect for families and couples alike. Our villa was used as the show villa by the resort because of its fantastic location. With everything available on-site, you may not wish to leave! If you do, the main beach of Las Cucharas is only a 5 minute walk away. You can continue along a wonderful Oceanside promenade which leads all the way into Costa Teguise. Many shops, bars and restaurants are also only a short walk away. The golf course is also very close.
Outside is a private terrace with sun loungers, table, parasol and 4 chairs. Swimming pool with toddler pool beside it is a few steps away. Great sea views. Smoking is not allowed inside the villa but is allowed on the private terrace outside. The pool immediately outside the villa is unheated but there is a heated pool on-site by the Mai Tai Bar & Restaurant. The resort itself is on the sea front and has its own private salt water lagoon. The main award winning beach of Las Cucharas is only a five minute stroll away from where you can partake in many different water sports. The resort is arranged over three levels There are steps and ramps between them so is suitable if you cannot climb steps. The villa is all on the ground floor with just a small step up to the WC/bath area. The bath is sunken. Internet access available on-site. Cot/high chairs are also available for hire. DVD and films available for hire. If you have friends or family who wish to come with you and our villa won't house them all, we know several other owners on the same complex. So if you need to book more than one villa, we will be able to put you in contact with other owners on the same plaza (Palmeras). Please visit our website for more information.
The island is steeped in history with numerous cultural and historical sites to visit. The island's historical capital, Teguise is only a 10-15 minute drive away. It has a great market and is well worth visiting. There is a good public transport system, with buses and taxis always available. Costa Teguise offers a wide and varied selection of restaurants and bars, with most tastes catered for. Imagine yourself sitting down for a relaxing meal gazing over the ocean. Volcanoes, beaches, culture and sports; Costa Teguise is a great place to relax and slow down and of course have a great deal of fun! There is a good selection of local shops offering perfume, jewellery, gifts, discount electrical items etc. If shopping is your thing, Puerto del Carmen has hundreds of shops to choose from! Lanzarote has something to offer for everybody. The weather is pretty close to perfect; warm and sunny all year round with very little rain. The scenery is just as spectacular; a volcanic landscape covered in lava with a moon-like appearance (used in several moonscapes for filming incidentally). The island is small enough to be explored in just a few days but there is still plenty to see and do. Lanzarote is perhaps the most "cultured" of the Canary Islands, much of its landscape and culture influenced by the artist César Manrique. Many of the visitor attractions on the island were "sculpted" by him. Lanzarote has a host of beautiful small fishing villages, sandy beaches and caves to explore along with many visitor attractions and holiday resorts such as Puerto del Carmen.

Fantastic Holiday Fantastic Villa - Anzhela London - Review Submitted: August 25, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2008 My husband and I had the most amazing holiday in July in Lanzarote in this great luxury Villa. The first impression we got was of how clean it all felt. The floors were so clean it all seemed like a show villa complex. It’s so well kept. Palmeras 18 was charming and very smart and clean. It was great value for money and to be fair we would be prepared to pay more for this kind of quality. Overlooking the beautiful pool area this villa was just what we needed. We enjoyed freshly baked bread every morning from the onsite store. The whole facility is wonderful with everything we needed on site all provided by very warm and friendly staff. Nothing disappointed us and we have already booked up for another visit in Mid November later this year. Though the complex in Costa Teguise caters from family’s we certainly didn’t find it too noisy. Costa Teguise has plenty of bars and places to eat during the day and evenings. A full English breakfast in Costa Teguise is around €3 which is insane! Eating full English in the Sun for 2 with coffee for under £10 was a treat we kept going back to. Car hire is really cheap and best done from the airport for the lowest prices. We’ve been to Lanzarote many times and can recommend car hire for the best way to get around the whole island for the lowest prices. We both like to SCUBA dive and enjoyed the local dive school on the beach front in Costa Teguise. Overall, Costa Teguise is fairly calm and relaxed. Puerto del Carman, in the South is about 25 minutes drive away and easy to find and a little more busy and better for night clubbing or just for a change of location. Great diving there too. Lanzarote is definitely our favourite place to go on holiday and this pool side villa is probably the best place we’ve found in Lanzarote and at these very reasonable prices we’ll be coming back often.
