Entrance to the villa is through the covered naya which has ample space for the outside dining table & chairs used for barbecues & all alfresco eating. Alternatively use the patio area around the pool to catch the last rays of the evening sun. The sun terrace is above the naya. The Villa benefits from a layout that ensures that it is generally secluded. There is a lockable garage & a gated drive with a turning area giving secure off road parking.

The covered naya is just 3 steps up from the oval swimming pool that has Roman Steps at one end & is illuminated for night swimming. There is a tiled outside pool shower. From the balustrade at the side of the pool area there are panoramic views towards Javea bay & Montgo mountain. The pool is regularly & professionally maintained being cleaned twice a week in high season & a local company manages & maintains the property.

The upper floor consists of a bedroom which sleeps two. There is a king-size continental bed (with two x 3 ft mattresses in the one frame) & an ensuite bathroom with toilet & shower. A door leads directly to the roof sun terrace (with loungers) above the covered naya.

On the ground floor there are two bedrooms each sleeping two. One has twin beds, the other has a continental king size bed. The latter has an additional door leading outside to the patio & pool. Both bedrooms have large built in wardrobes & draw space. These bedrooms share a nearby very large bathroom that has two washbasins, a bath with a shower, a separate tiled shower, a toilet & a bidet. Fresh linen & towels are provided weekly. All the bedrooms have electric fans & bug screens on the windows, so you can sleep with open windows. For colder rentals there are fleece blankets & duvets.

The kitchen contains a dishwasher, washing machine, large fridge freezer, oven, hob, toaster, electric kettle, juicer, coffee maker, microwave, copious crockery, cutlery & cooking implements. There is a patio/drying area outside the back door.

Javea sits at the most Easterly point on mainland Spain. A medieval town with a Roman and Moorish history it can be divided into 3 distinct areas. There’s the old town of narrow cobbled streets, 16th Century church and whitewashed houses, the port area and then there are the beaches.
Javea is justly proud that its climate is rated ‘environmentally near perfect’ by the World Health Organisation.
Locally there is horse riding, golf, tennis, go-karting, jet ski, windsurfing, scuba diving, other watersports and designated nature walks.
There is a covered market in the old town and a Thursday outdoor market where you can shop for anything from cheese to chorizo, from lace to leatherwork. The picturesque fishing harbour is a working port. Stroll along and watch the days catch being brought in before dinner. The modern yacht club is also situated here.

Evenings are lively along the promenade at Arenal Beach where there are a score of bars and restaurants and dozens of craft stalls as well as exclusive boutiques. The beach has lifeguards and showers and there are safe separate play areas for children of various age groups.

There are worthwhile day trips to Valencia (just an hour away), to the fortress village of Guadel’est or even take the ferry to Ibiza. Closer to Javea visit Gata for cane and ceramics. Near Benidorm there are a number of attractions including the Terra Mitica theme park which is an excellent day for the young or young at heart, the
Mundomar marine & exotic animal park or Aqualandia water park for the energetic.
