The accommodation comprises 2 double bedrooms one with en suite bathroom, 1 bedroom with a double and single bed and a twin room on the first floor (a Z-bed can be placed on the landing to accommodate 1 more person). On the ground floor is a large comfortable lounge with wood-burning fire, a dining area and a well-equipped fitted kitchen with washing machine, a second shower room and WC. A cot and highchair can be provided. There is a satellite TV (visitors will need own cards for encrypted channels) and a small library of videos.

The property still has many of the original granite buildings, some of which have been utilized for the benefit of the visitors, but still retaining the charm of the country property.

Surrounding the cottage there is approximately 8 acres of meadowland and more formal lawns through which the river Sarre meanders with good trout and pike fishing. The mill leat feeds a large pond in front of the house and whilst swimming and paddling can take place it is advisable to always ensure young children are supervised. A small boat is provided for further enjoyment of the water.

There is ample space for outdoor games too. A barbecue and garden furniture are provided and there is badminton and petangue. The latter are shared facilities with MAISON BLANCHE next door which is also available for renting together with THE COTTAGE for large groups. A 470cm plunge pool is now installed for further enjoyment of the garden.

This is an ideal location for those who enjoy the countryside. The coast is 40 minutes away as are lakes Guerledan and Ploermel for watersports. The rivers Sarre and Blavet are excellent for trout and coarse fishing. The historic towns of Pontivy, Vannes, Josselin and Auray are great for shopping and exploring. Morbihan offers a wealth of activites all within 45 minutes of the cottages.

Cycling for all stages from the gentle towpaths beside the Blavet river, through quiet country lanes and villages to the more exacting marked trails.. Walking: there are numerous well-marked paths through forests, along the coast and rivers. Fishing; all types of angling is catered for and daily or weekly permits are available.

Golf. There is the 9-hole course at Bieuzy les Eaux and the 18 hole courses near Vannes , Lorient and Auray. Visit the website www.formule-golf.com for more details.
