Le Duplex offers unique, spacious accommodation in a beautiful Alpine Resort. A combination of original 70’s features and retro furniture & fittings fills the impressive space creating a stylish yet fun holiday home. Here we have everything you need to make your stay as pleasant as can be

Sleep up to 14 in two double/triple rooms & a large family room with second bedroom.

Our exceptional social area has an immense floor space but with sloping ceilings and a massive open fire it still has a homely and cosy atmosphere.

Breakfast
Our full breakfast buffet, consisting of fruit juices, teas; coffee; freshly baked croissants; local bread and preserves; cereals, fruit, yogurts, ham, eggs and cheese.

Evening Meals
Our semi-catered option includes a 3 course evening meal (with a champagne aperitif and wine during the meal) 4 nights a week. We feel that providing a semi catered option allows guests to relax and enjoy the comfort of home, without missing out on the delicious food served in our local restaurants on the

La Chapelle at 1010m-2432m is the French starting point of the Portes du Soleil. This huge ski domain boasts 650km of pistes in 14 French & Swiss resorts. These resorts are each diverse in style and age as they are in ski terrain.

Le Duplex is opposite La Chapelle's own attractive, gladed ski area - 'Cret Beni'. This ski area has 8 lifts serving over 10 pistes. The pistes are manly blue and green, so great for beginners and children. The ESF ski school is located at the bottom of the slopes, and there are two slope side restaurants. La Chapelle's telecabine takes you up to ski-lifts linking you to the Portes du Soleil through Torgon and Morgins in Switzerland, and Super-Chatel.

Your hosts or the free bus service from outside Le duplex will take you to Chatel's Linga or Pre-la-Joux lifts (15 minutes). From here Avoriaz, Morzine and Les Gets (all within the Portes du Soleil ski area) are easily accessible via pistes and chairs. Each area has their own snowpark, rails & halfpipe.

As well as down hill skiing and boarding, the Portes du Soleil has 35km of Nordic Ski paths where you can discover winter nature in all it's beauty. There are cross- country pistes 'Ski de Fond' and snowshoe paths 'raquettes' to follow.

A variety of ski-passes are available for the different areas, as well as the whole of the Portes du Soleil. We have a 15% discount for 'Le Duplex' clients at our local ski hire shop, just across the road.

Spring brings meadows full of lush grass and colourful flowers, broken only by the many waterfalls and rivers - an ideal time for walkers & river sports. The roads fill with cyclists and the cows bells ring out all over the valley.

In the summer the lifts are open providing access to a varied collection of bike pistes and parks, parapenting and alpine walks.
